WikiZen @ NTUA Campus
The MPCL team placed QR Codes, useful for installing and using the WikiZen mobile app, in different areas of the NTUA campus, communicating in this way the application in thousands of students, potential app users. Besides dissemination purposes, this activity will assist the application developers during the trials, validation and evaluation phases.

Being committed to be present at major events in the area of social networking, the MPC Laboratory of ICCS participated at the 7th IEEE/ACM International Conference On Utility and Cloud Computing (UCC 14), held in London, UK, 8-11 December 2014 with a scientific paper entitled "Community Awareness in Academic Social Networks" authored by P. Kosmides, E. Adamopoulou, K. Demestichas, C. Remoundou, I. Loumiotis, and M. Theologou. Mr. Pavlos Kosmides gave the presentation of the aforementioned paper highlighting the laboratory's ideas and approaches.

Adamopoulou, and M. Anagnostou, at the Mathematical Methods & Computational Techniques in Science & Engineering conference held in Athens, Greece on 28-30 November 2014.

The Mobile and Personal Communications Laboratory of ICCS participated in the International Conference on Mobility and Smart Cities (Mobility) 2014 held in Rome, Italy, 27-28 October 2014 with a scientifc paper entitled "Introducing Community Awareness to Location-Based Social Networks", by P. Kosmides, C. Remoundou, I. Loumiotis, E. Adamopoulou, and K. Demestichas. Mr. Pavlos Kosmides presented the aforementioned paper which attracted the interest and questions of several attendees.
